Reclaiming Humanity from Industry and Government: The Call for Creative Superheroes

In an era dominated by the globalization of both industry and government, where the relentless pursuit of profit and power has shifted the priority away from serving the well-being of Humanity, a profound observation emerges: Humanity is atrophying. In this age of technological advancement, economic pursuits and multi-national governance, it will be the creative thinkers who will resuscitate and strengthen Humanity towards a brighter, more hopeful future.

The Atrophy of Humanity

As the gears of industry and the mechanisms of government race to the bottom of profit on the one hand and control and power on the other hand, it has become apparent that there is no room for Humanity in either the industrial budget or the government agenda.  The result is that neither of these two organizations are looking out for the best interests of humans, and as a result Humanity is atrophying.  It doesn’t take much more than looking at the headlines that dominate the daily news sources or simply walking into public these days to experience this phenomenon personally.

Creative Minds as the Superheroes of Our Time

History tells us that in times of darkness, whenever civilizations teetered on the brink, it was the creative thinkers who have always emerged as beacons of hope. From the Renaissance to the Enlightenment, from art movements to scientific revolutions, it has consistently been the creatives who have dared to envision alternatives to the prevailing and bleak status quo. Through their innovations, they have sparked revolutions that propelled societies forward, giving Humanity the impetus to evolve and thrive.

Amidst the current bleak environment, there has become an urgent need for a paradigm shift –  a reevaluation of our cultural priorities. It is time to recognize that Humanity, with its rich tapestry of spirituality, ideas, and creativity, should be at the apex of the Humanity-Government-Industry pyramid. Rather than serving as mere cogs in the wheels of industry and pawns in the political game, humans must reclaim their position at the forefront of our collective consciousness.

The Creative Renaissance: Forging a New Path

Creativity, with its ability to inspire, innovate, and connect, holds the key to reshaping the narrative. Creative minds must rise to the occasion, not as conduits for commercial interests, but as leaders guiding humanity towards a more authentic and human future. The power of creativity lies not just in its ability to entertain but in its capacity to provoke thought, challenge norms, and inspire change.  There is nothing more human than creativity – the ability to see something through a uniquely human lens and then express it in a way that is relatable to others.

In embracing a new era of creative leadership, we can break free from the chains of commercial exploitation. Whether through art, technology, or social initiatives, creatives have the unique ability to reshape narratives, challenge power structures, and offer alternatives that prioritize humanity.

Conclusion: A Creative Vision for the Future

As we navigate the complex web of industry and government, let us not forget the essence of our shared humanity. The call for creative leadership is not a plea for a return to a bygone era but a forward-looking proposition—a recognition that creativity, in all its forms, can serve as a guiding light out of the darkness that at times seems to envelop us.

In this era of rapid change and shifting paradigms, the onus is on creative individuals to lead the way. By harnessing the power of ideas, fostering genuine connections, and challenging the status quo, creatives can spearhead a renaissance that places humanity at the forefront. It's time for a new narrative—one where creativity is not just a tool for commercial gain or political control but a force that rises above industry and government to reclaim Humanity’s spot at the top of the pyramid.
